Traditional Heat

The Karlstad includes an 8.0 kW traditional sauna stove with built-in controls. Follow the supplied stove instructions for required clearances, sauna-stone placement, installation, and safe operation.

Full-Spectrum Infrared

The infrared heating system includes 13 emitters: four Carbon PureTech™ Near Zero EMF heating panels and nine near-infrared heating elements.

Electrical Requirements

A dedicated 240V/40A electrical service is required for the traditional stove and full-spectrum infrared system. All hardwiring, disconnects, overcurrent protection, and final connections must be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable local codes.

Site Preparation

Install the sauna on a solid, flat, level, and well-drained base capable of supporting the approximately 1,350-pound sauna, its equipment, and occupants.

Confirm delivery access, final orientation, door clearance, roof drainage, ventilation, and electrical routing before shipment. The sauna roof must be kept clear of accumulated snow during winter.

Shipping

When in stock, Golden Designs products typically leave the warehouse within approximately 2–3 business days. The Karlstad ships in 10 boxes by palleted LTL freight with an approximate shipping weight of 1,575 lb.

Core Human Health coordinates complimentary curbside freight delivery for eligible addresses within the contiguous United States. Remote, island, or difficult-access destinations may require additional planning or charges.

The freight carrier will normally contact the recipient 24–48 hours before delivery to arrange a delivery window.

Delivery

Delivery is curbside or to the end of the driveway from a 53-foot semi-truck. Plan in advance for moving the cartons from the delivery point to the prepared installation site.

Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt. Document visible damage on the delivery receipt and contact Core Human Health immediately if significant damage or missing components are discovered.

Assembly

The manufacturer estimates approximately one day for assembly, although actual timing will depend on the installation site and experience of the assembly crew.

Multiple capable adults are recommended because of the size and weight of the wood, glass, stove, and other components. Site preparation, material movement, assembly labor, and electrical installation are not included. All electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician.

Warranty

Golden Designs’ Hybrid/Outdoor Sauna Warranty provides five-year limited coverage for the wood structure when properly maintained, the control panel, applicable control-panel wiring harnesses, and lights.

The stove or heater is protected under its applicable manufacturer warranty. Coverage applies to eligible replacement parts and does not include labor, removal, or reinstallation.

Warranty eligibility is subject to the manufacturer’s complete terms, exclusions, and claim procedures. Coverage is generally limited to the original purchaser and original installation location. Proper installation, outdoor maintenance, and proof of purchase are required. Commercial buyers should confirm applicable warranty coverage before ordering.

Returns and Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase.

Eligible returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery, receive prior written approval and a Return Merchandise Authorization number, and comply with Golden Designs and Core Human Health return requirements.

Returned products must be in qualifying condition and retain their original packaging. The buyer is responsible for applicable outbound and return shipping, handling, routing, and storage costs. Opened or assembled but unused saunas may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Used saunas are not returnable.

The current owner and assembly documentation is supplied with the sauna. Review all instructions before assembly, electrical installation, heater use, or operation. Retain the documentation and proof of purchase for future warranty service.

Care Instructions

• Keep the roof clear of snow, leaves, and other debris.
• Maintain the exterior according to the manufacturer’s directions.
• Prevent standing water from collecting around the sauna base.
• Clean the interior with a soft cloth and plain water unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise.
• Do not use harsh chemicals on the Canadian Red Cedar.
• Allow the sauna to dry and ventilate after use.
• Natural differences in cedar color, grain, and aroma are expected.
