The required control system, power unit or contactor, sauna stones, sensors, safety accessories, and electrical components vary by heater.

The included wooden heater guard should only be installed after the heater is positioned and all manufacturer-required safety clearances have been confirmed. The guard may require adjustment or may not be suitable for every heater configuration.

Electrical Requirements

• Compatible heater packages require a dedicated 240V, single-phase electrical circuit.
• Most 6kW Harvia and HUUM heaters typically require a 30-amp double-pole breaker and 10-AWG copper wire.
• The IKI Pillar 6.6 models operate at 240V, draw approximately 28.75 amps, and typically use 10-AWG copper wire. Final breaker sizing must follow the IKI manual.
• Saunum Air 7 and Air Perfect 7 packages have additional power, control, sensor, fan, and airflow-system connections. Some Saunum configurations require a neutral conductor. All requirements must be confirmed using the exact Saunum package manual.
• The included LED lighting system requires access to a 120V AC electrical outlet for its 90W power supply.
• Some heater models include built-in controls, while others require a separate control panel, power unit, temperature sensor, door sensor, or Wi-Fi connection.
• All electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the selected heater manual and applicable national and local codes.
• Final breaker size, wire size, controls, disconnects, and connection method must be confirmed using the manual for the exact heater package purchased.

Site Requirements

• Install the barrel sauna on a stable, flat, level, and well-drained foundation.
• Suitable foundations may include a properly prepared gravel base with pavers, concrete pad, or reinforced deck.
• The sauna’s support cradles must rest evenly on the foundation.
• The foundation must support the approximately 1,213-pound sauna, heater, stones, occupants, and additional accessories.
• Plan for drainage from both floor drains and prevent standing water beneath or around the sauna.
• Remove vegetation beneath and immediately around the sauna to reduce moisture exposure.
• Maintain all heater clearances and locally required property, structure, and fire-safety setbacks.
• Confirm local permitting, zoning, HOA, and electrical requirements before preparing the site.

The SaunaLife E7 ships as a large sauna kit by LTL freight. Delivery is curbside unless another service is specifically included in your order or written quote.

The freight carrier will typically contact you using the telephone number provided with your order to arrange a delivery appointment. The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible to a full-size freight truck.

Inspect the shipment carefully before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery paperwork, photograph the packaging and affected areas, and contact Core Human Health immediately.

Assembly is required. SaunaLife describes the E7 as a two-person, one-day DIY installation when the site is fully prepared. Actual assembly time will vary based on experience, site conditions, tools, and heater selection. Additional help is recommended when positioning the walls, barrel staves, glass door, benches, and roofing components.

Site preparation, moving materials from the delivery point, sauna assembly, heater installation, and electrical work are not included unless specifically stated in your order.

Review the installation manual and complete all site and electrical planning before delivery.

Manufacturer Warranty

The SaunaLife E7 is covered by SaunaLife’s current two-year limited residential warranty against defects in workmanship under normal conditions of use. Coverage applies to the original retail purchaser when the sauna is purchased through an authorized reseller.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, user damage, natural aging or weathering of the wood, installation or delivery expenses, labor, unauthorized alterations, misuse, commercial use, or damage caused by improper installation or harsh chemicals. Sauna heaters, controls, lighting, and other added components may carry separate manufacturer warranties.

Photographs, proof of purchase, the product serial number, and prior authorization may be required for a warranty claim.

Returns

Return requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of purchase. To qualify, the sauna must be new, unused, uninstalled, and returned with its original packaging, pallet, manuals, hardware, and components.

Prior written approval and a Return Authorization number are required before anything is shipped back. The customer is responsible for return freight charges on buyer-remorse returns. Repackaging or reboxing fees may apply if the original packaging is incomplete.

Contact Core Human Health immediately regarding freight damage, an incorrect shipment, missing components, a warranty concern, or a cancellation request. Eligibility is subject to the complete Core Human Health Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable manufacturer terms.

The heater, controller, and lighting system have separate installation and operating instructions. Read all applicable manuals before assembly or installation.

Basic Care

• Apply the included paraffin oil to the appropriate interior wood surfaces according to SaunaLife’s directions.
• Wipe the benches and interior wood with a clean, damp cloth after use.
• Throw water only on the heater stones—not directly on the walls or benches.
• Keep both floor drains clear and prevent water from pooling on wooden surfaces.
• Ventilate the sauna after use and allow all surfaces to dry.
• Do not clean the sauna with running water or a pressure washer.
• Use only cleaning and maintenance products intended for sauna wood.
• Inspect the roof shingles, drip edges, barrel bands, door hinges, bench supports, fasteners, and heater guard regularly.
• Check sauna stones periodically and replace cracked or deteriorated stones.
• Natural variations, slight cracking, expansion, contraction, and color changes are expected characteristics of real wood exposed to changing heat and humidity.
