Heater Requirements

The sauna heater is sold separately unless included with the selected package. Compatible options include:

The required controls, power unit or contactor, sauna stones, and accessories vary by heater. Always follow the specifications and safety clearances listed in the selected heater’s installation manual.

Electrical Requirements

• Compatible heaters require a dedicated 240V, single-phase electrical circuit.
• Most listed 6kW Harvia heaters typically require a 30-amp double-pole breaker.
• The HUUM DROP 7.5kW typically requires a 40-amp breaker and minimum 8-AWG copper wire.
• The Harvia TopClass KV80 8kW typically requires a 40-amp double-pole breaker and 8-AWG copper wire.
• The included LED lighting system requires access to a 120V AC electrical outlet for its 90W power supply.
• All heater and lighting connections must be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable national and local electrical codes.
• Final breaker size, wire size, controls, disconnects, and connection method must be confirmed using the manual for the exact heater package purchased.

Site Requirements

• Install the sauna on a stable, flat, and level foundation.
• Suitable foundations may include a properly constructed concrete pad, paver base, or reinforced deck.
• The foundation must support the approximately 1,680-pound sauna, heater, stones, and occupants.
• Provide appropriate drainage and prevent standing water from contacting the wooden foundation components.
• Maintain all required heater clearances and locally required property, structure, and fire-safety setbacks.
• Confirm local permitting, zoning, HOA, and electrical requirements before preparing the site.

The SaunaLife CL5G ships as a large, heavy sauna kit by LTL freight. Delivery is curbside unless another service is specifically included in your order or written quote.

The freight carrier will typically contact you using the telephone number provided with your order to arrange a delivery appointment. The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible to a full-size freight truck.

Inspect the shipment carefully before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery paperwork, photograph the packaging and affected areas, and contact Core Human Health immediately.

Assembly is required. Due to the size, weight, roofing components, and glass front wall, multiple capable adults or an experienced sauna installer are recommended. Site preparation, moving the materials from the delivery point, sauna assembly, heater installation, and electrical work are not included unless specifically stated in your order.

Review the installation manual and complete all site and electrical planning before delivery.

Manufacturer Warranty

The SaunaLife CL5G is covered by SaunaLife’s current two-year limited residential warranty against defects in workmanship under normal conditions of use. Coverage applies to the original retail purchaser when the sauna is purchased through an authorized reseller.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, user damage, natural aging or weathering of the wood, installation or delivery expenses, labor, unauthorized alterations, misuse, commercial use, or damage caused by improper installation or harsh chemicals. Sauna heaters, controls, lighting, and other added components may carry separate manufacturer warranties.

Photographs, proof of purchase, the product serial number, and prior authorization may be required for a warranty claim.

Returns

Return requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of purchase. To qualify, the sauna must be new, unused, uninstalled, and returned with its original packaging, pallet, manuals, hardware, and components.

Prior written approval and a Return Authorization number are required before anything is shipped back. The customer is responsible for return freight charges on buyer-remorse returns. Repackaging or reboxing fees may apply if the original packaging is incomplete.

Contact Core Human Health immediately regarding freight damage, an incorrect shipment, missing components, a warranty concern, or a cancellation request. Eligibility is subject to the complete Core Human Health Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable manufacturer terms.

The heater, controller, and lighting system have separate installation and operating instructions. Read all applicable manuals before assembly or installation.

Basic Care

• Wipe the benches and interior wood with a clean, damp cloth after use.
• Do not clean the wood with running water or a pressure washer.
• Allow the sauna to dry completely and maintain proper ventilation after each session.
• Use only cleaning and maintenance products intended for sauna wood.
• Treat the exterior wood after assembly and reapply a suitable wood preservative at least annually or as conditions require.
• Avoid paint, varnish, harsh disinfectants, and aggressive household chemicals.
• Inspect the roof, door hinges, bench supports, fasteners, and exterior wood regularly.
• Check sauna stones periodically and replace cracked or deteriorated stones.
• Natural variations, slight cracking, movement, and color changes are expected characteristics of real wood exposed to changing heat and humidity.
